Corporate Gifts for Foreign Partners and Delegations
When a foreign partner, delegation or conference guest comes to Belgrade, a gift with a Serbian motif makes a far better impression than a generic logo pen. With the Specialized Expo 2027 in Belgrade (May 15 – August 15, 2027), companies will be hosting more foreign guests than ever. Here is how to choose a gift they will remember.
1. Set a budget per gift
The budget determines everything else. For large events (conferences, trade fairs), smaller items with a Serbian motif are enough. For key partners and heads of delegations, choose a statue, a relief plate or a gift set combining several items.
- Up to 1,000 RSD: small čuturas, picture spoons, small plates and relief plaques.
- 1,000–3,000 RSD: a relief plate or beer mug, a snow globe, or a combination of two items.
- Over 3,000 RSD: a statue or figurine plus 2–3 more items in a gift set.
2. Choose a motif with a story
Foreign guests remember a gift best when it comes with a short story: Nikola Tesla, the Temple of Saint Sava, the Victor at Kalemegdan, the double-headed eagle. It’s a nice touch to include a card with two or three sentences in the guest’s language.
3. Mind the recipient’s culture
- Čuturas and čokanj shot glasses are quintessentially Serbian, but check whether the recipient drinks alcohol.
- For guests from Asia, packaging matters as much as the gift itself — choose a neat box and an attractive gift bag.
- Political and religious motifs aren’t for everyone; Tesla, maps, mountains and Belgrade are safe neutral choices.
4. Add your company logo
For larger quantities, we can add your company logo or event name — on the bag, the card or the product itself, depending on the item. That way the gift also works as marketing.
5. Order in good time
For dozens or hundreds of gifts, allow time for preparation, branding and packaging. It’s best to send an inquiry as soon as you know the event date and the approximate number of guests.
Ready-made gift sets
We have put together three sample sets — Belgrade, Serbia and Delegation — which we can tailor to your budget and number of gifts. Send an inquiry through the form on the Corporate gifts page and you will receive a quote by email.
